Absen Empowers Austraila Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka with Cutting-Edge LED Display Technology

As one of the world’s most anticipated international events, Expo 2025 Osaka brings together over 150 countries under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” Absen, a global leader in LED display solutions, is proud to play a key role in the Australia Pavilion, contributing advanced visual technology to help create a compelling and culturally rich visitor experience.

Cutting-edge Absen Technology at the Heart of the Pavilion

Among the standout participants, Austraila is captivating global audiences with its immersive national pavillion themed “Chasing the Sun.” This vibrant experience showcases Austraila’s dynamic energy, creative spirt, rich cultural heritage, and awe-inspiring natural beauty.

To deliver an immersive and visually captivating environment, the Australia Pavilion has adopted four major Absen product lines, totaling over 240 square meters of high-performance LED displays:

K1.8 V3

Absen’s fine-pitch K1.8 V3 solution was deployed extensively throughout the Australia Pavilion, with a total of 29 screens covering 123.5 square meters. The displays were mounted using a combination of steel structures and wall integration, ensuring both stability and seamless presentation.

These screens are strategically placed across key thematic zones, including Sea Country, Land Country, Entrance Portal, Exit Portal and the VIP Entrance, delivering immersive content that enhances the visitor experience. The installation spans the rear wall, east  and west facades, as well as three tree-shaped displays and three map of Australia-themed LED features, creating a compelling narrative through dynamic visuals.

PL 2.9 Plus V2

Located in the Sea Country zone, the PL 2.9 Plus V2 series contributes to the Pavillion’s immersive storytelling through a dynamic overhead display.

Totaling 45 square meters across five screens, the installation is suspended using a combination of steel structures and celling beams. It includes 4 celling-mounted panels and 1 striking “sun screen”, enhancing the thematic atmosphere with vivd visual effects that draw visitors’ attention upward.

X136

Three 136-inch all-in-one screens were installed in the VIP function room via wall-mounting, providing high-defintion presentations for private events and diplomatic meetings.

PL 2.9W Plus V2

A large-format 12m x 16m forecourt screen was installed using a fixed steel frame, covering 70 square meters of display surface, providing dynamic visual content for arriving visitors.

Merging Technology with Storytelling and Culture

Through these Absen display solutions, the Pavilion immerses visitor in a multisensory journey across Australia’s unique landscapes and cultures.

Inside the pavillion, visitors are taken on a captivating sensory journey: they follow the sun across Australia’s diverse landscapes, gaze into star-filled skies, explore deep-sea environments, listen to the distinctive calls of native wildlife, and learn about First Nations’ profound connection to country. The immersive visuals powered by high-resolution LED displays have drawn large crowds, with many attendees stopping to admire the spectacle and capture unforgettable moments on their phones.

Underwater Wonders: the Sea Country zone transports visitors to the vibrant marine ecosystems of Australia, where displays showcase the rich biodiversity and stewardship of oceans by First Nations Australians.

Celestial Skies:A First Nations story unfolds overhead, using LED displays to recreate the Australian night sky, highlighting ancient Indigenous navigation techniques, seasonal cycles, and spiritual connections between land and stars.

Immersive Forest Experience: As guests walk into the Pavilion, they are surrounded by towering 6-meter eucalyptus trees, integrated with LED panels that simulate natural sunlight streaming through the canopy—complete with iconic Australian animals, all brought to life by Absen’s visual technology.

With its stunning fusion of cultural storytelling and next-generation technology, the Australia Pavilion has quickly become a highlight of Expo 2025. Absen’s innovate display solutions not only bring the exhibition to life, but also elevate global immersive exhibition standards. This cross-sector collaboration demonstrates how visual technology can inspire, engage, and connect audiences worldwide-continuing to draw in crowds who pause, interact, and share the moment.
